They have played out of the Angels Stadium since 1966. The Angels were the World Series Champions in 2002 under the leadership of Mike Scioscia, and their win and coach brought in more spectators to Angels Stadium. Since then, they have not qualified to play postseason, but they have brought at least 2 million spectators to their games for 30 straight seasons.

Anaheim is also home to The Ducks. Members of the National Hockey League, the Ducks have played their home games at the Honda Center since their inception in 1993. The crew was originally formed by the Walt Disney Company, inspired by the 1992 Disney film, The Mighty Ducks. Since then, the team has been sold by Disney and granted membership in a few hockey leagues, including the NHL and the Pacific Division.
The Ducks are a fairly strong hockey squad, having won 6 Pacific Division titles, 2 Western Conference championships, and the Stanley Cup in 2007. Presently, the players are captained by Ryan Getzlaf, who was named captain in 2010 after 7 years on the team.
