League City, TX Has Some Awesome Sports Teams
The state of Texas is really big on their sports teams with almost every Texas native backing the Cowboys. Other cities in the state also boast some impressive sports but none come quite as close to the fame that the Cowboys have. We at SaveOnPaving.com believe League City also has quite a few awesome lineups within its city borders.
League City, TX Parks Recreation
While the city’s parks and recreation department offers athletics for both children and adults, most of the teams offered are for kids. The ones that are featured for Fall 2017 are for soccer and baseball.
The groups that the League City Park Recreation has available for those interested in youth baseball include Coach Pitch, Rookie Ball, and T-Ball. Coach Pitch has four teams that include 3 Chambers, 4 Braman, Bats, and Sharks. They face off against each other every week on different days but always at 11 AM and noon. For Rookie Ball, there are four teams: The Cubs, Raptors, Texans, and The Heat. They play on the same day and at the same time as Coach Pitch. T-Ball has a lot more members with 12 groups rounding out its rosters. All twelve teams face each other at either 9 AM or 10 AM on the same days as the other youth leagues.
The soccer leagues are split based on the ages of the kids playing, ranging between 3U to 15U. The young groups have more members, and for most of the teams associated with League City, there are no names given. There are many games to watch here but they give no times for games or information on where they’re played.
