Its purpose is to elevate the interest in technology, mathematics, science, and engineering. They have educational outreach programs to help students of Central Texas get into these fields. It is home to traveling exhibits, the first planetarium to the area, and the ‘Timewalk’ exhibit which was created from dinosaur bones and fossils.
